Kathryn & Chris were married at Villa Chanticleer in Healdsburg, CA. Such a beautiful, intimate yet large wedding with amazing guests and family! I’ve shot at Villa Chanticleer before, but I love how no wedding there is the same–this one featured a quartet playing their entrance music, a cocktail hour in a different spot than I’d shot before, and actually ran AHEAD of time. If you’ve been to/worked a wedding, you know this is virtually unheard of! Since we were running ahead of time and they had a small bridal party, Kathryn & Chris were able to enjoy some of their cocktail hour and mingle with their guests–another rarity of weddings! Here were some of my favorite moments:
–Kathryn’s dress. OMG. I fell in LOVE the second I saw it hanging in the window at her parents house. And the shoes?! I STILL want a pair. They way she paired them with her hair was just absolute perfection!
–Kathryn & Chris have lots of nieces and nephews, so they gave them all roles throughout the ceremony. Ushers seating guests, handing out programs, and doing readings during the ceremony. So incredibly special to get everyone involved!
–I felt like I really got to get to know their families from everyone’s speeches. AND, gotta love a best man who breaks down in tears 😉
–Kathryn’s SIL and niece surprised the bride & groom with a special dance–absolutely incredible, and the whole place was absolutely ROARING when they were done. I wish I would have video’d it on my iPhone, even just to be able to watch it again!
–The couple’s last name is Boss, so Kathryn had a specialty cocktail called the BossKat. LOVE.
–Overall, the personality and vibe of Kathryn and Chris was incomparable. They were easy going, mellow, so in love, and just a dream to work with. Absolutely adore you guys and wish you all the best!
