DJ's short for Danielle Joy. I am THE definition of a people person! I love meeting people, talking, and learning what people are really about (guess that explains why I got my BA in Psychology). I have developed amazing relationships with my clients, many of them becoming great friends! That’s the best part about what I do—meeting people and making connections. I love the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots, DOGS, fishing, caffeine, fantasy football, shoes, sports, concerts, traveling, and all things rose gold. I’m originally from Santa Cruz, then lived in the Central Valley in Merced for my teen years, eventually moving to Sonoma County to attend Sonoma State University.. I fell in love with Sonoma County and not only it's beautiful landscapes, but also the amazing people--so I decided to stick around.

I took photography classes in high school, but rediscovered my love for it when a friend needed some engagement photos done in 2010. I picked up a film SLR camera, went digital shortly after that, and never looked back! I was fortunate to make this my full-time job in 2016, and had never been happier. In 2019 I decided I wanted to put my Bachelor's degree to use, so I started working as a Student Advisor at a TK-8th grade public charter school in Petaluma. Working with these kids gives me such great personal fulfillment, and I'm so lucky to now have two careers that I absolutely love! Go Cheetahs!
