Sean, Stefani, and their amazing pup Oakley came up to Sonoma County to have their engagement photos done by yours truly last year. We had such a great time together, I was so excited to be shooting their wedding. Only downside? Oakley couldn’t be there. I know, bummer. But we still managed to sneak him into a wedding photo. Read on to learn how!
Another gorgeous wedding at Mountain House Estate in Cloverdale. Just like I mentioned in my last blog post, I absolutely love shooting at this venue and have many times. In fact, if you go to the homepage of their website, they use one of my images from Sam & Andrew‘s wedding there last year! So fun! As I said before, there are so many options and possibilities at Mountain House, that it truly makes every wedding there feel different and unique. Sean & Stefani opted to use the lawn for their reception, and tied the knot in front of the barn. I’ve seen this space used for dinner, cocktail hour, and now a ceremony, too! So neat. Dinner was held on the patio, and dancing took place inside. I love this setup, it was gorgeous. But, nothing could compare to how gorgeous Stefani was. I loved everything about her dress, her veil, and literally, just her. Again, I was so fortunate to have an amazing couple, incredible bridal party, loving families, and fun guests. Sean & Stefani laughed the whole day, and kept my second shooter, Jonné, and I laughing the whole time too.
Ok, if you read this far just to hear how we snuck Oakley into a wedding photo, thanks for sticking around. When we were shooting “golden hour” shots, we were commenting on how missed he was and how much we all wished he was there like he was for the engagement photos. Sean made a joke about looking toward the truck and photoshopping Oakley into the shot after the fact, so I just had to roll with it. I sent it to Stefani the other day and said, “Haters will say it’s photoshopped.” So hilarious! It’s the last shot of the gallery, make sure you check it out.
