Nicole contacted me via email to try to schedule a last minute shoot. They were having an annual family vacation with her partner’s family, from all over the country. Nicole, her partner Ryan & their son, Audon (I have no clue if I’m spelling that right–sorry!) are from San Francisco, Ryan’s parents (Mark & Nancy) were out from Chicago, his brother Joel his family (wife Melissa & daughter Ren) were here from DC, and his Aunt (Mom’s sister Jeannie) & her partner were here from St. Louis. Nicole & Ryan’s son was about to celebrate his 1st birthday, and it was almost Nancy’s birthday too–so they decided to put the shoot together as a last minute gift to her, and to commemorate the occasion.
The first photo is the gorgeous house they rented in Sebastopol. Seriously y’all, this is like my dream home. Wrap-around porch, totally re-done kitchen, pond, property, long driveway, pool & hot tub…seriously. It looks like something plucked straight out of the south or mid-west, and I just love it. We had so many options as far as spots to use on the property, and mixed it up a little here and there.
