You may recognize Mike & Kathy from other work I’ve done…I shot their son’s wedding, their daughters family photos, son’s family photos, big group family photos, and more. The kids got Mike & Kathy a gift certificate for Christmas, and they decided to use it for photos of just them & their grandkids…great idea! To keep things simple we just did them at their house, and the kids were hilarious to watch. They’re all pretty close in age–the girls, Peyton & Paisley are sisters, and Brooks is their cousin. It’s so cute to watch them interact and love on each other.
I love when people purchase gift certificates for family members! I may be biased, but even before becoming a photographer I thought it was the best gift to give. You’re giving memories, a stitch in time that flies by all too fast–The kids won’t ever be this small again! They will always be getting older, and Mike & Kathy forever have memories with them of this day and this age <3
Sidenote, even though little miss Paisley doesn’t LOOK very happy, you’d be surprised…she was shouting CHEEESSEEE the whole time! SO funny!
