Jenn & Josh were married at the Red Barn Ranch in Hopland. I’ve known them professionally for a couple of years, as I’ve done some family photos, engagement, and maternity photos for them. It was so fun to have it come full circle and shoot their wedding. The engagement photos we did a year ago were done at their wedding venue, so it was super fun to re-create certain shots! They did an absolutely amazing job setting everything up, it looked gorgeous! It was warm that day, but for Hopland in July, we really lucked out! The Red Barn Ranch is a gorgeous venue, with lots of photographic opportunities, so I was excited to finally be shooting there.
One of my favorite moments: During the cake cutting/feeding, Jenn had a cardboard cutout of her face so that Josh could “smash cake in her face”. It was hilarious and creative! He really wound up and got “her” good, too!
Another favorite moment: Josh gave Jenn’s daughter, Kenzie, a necklace before the ceremony. It was adorable! She loved it and lifted her hair up right away so he could put it on for her.
Favorite moment #3: Jenn & Kenzie smiling at each other during the ceremony. It was such a quick, unnoticeable moment, but I was thankful to have it on camera. Seriously, so adorable! I just love the mother/daughter bond that those two share.
