I had done photos for Dahlia’s parents’ vow renewal, and some family shots for her sister as well, so I was really excited when she asked me to take her college senior portraits. Dahlia was graduating from the University of San Francisco with a degree in Kinesiology, and wanted to have her photos done on campus. So fun! We really lucked out with a sunny day, which is sometimes rare in the city. I had such a great time wandering the campus with her, learning about all the hangout spots, where her classes were, and about her college experience in general. We had a blast! The whole campus is architecturally stunning, but sometimes the best spots for photos are the most unexpected–the shots of her with the confetti were snapped in a simple parking lot! We didn’t want to make a mess on the campus, so we found a parking attached and decided to go for it there. The ivy and flower covered wall was just gorgeous! So is Dahlia. Sometimes as a photographer you just get lucky 🙂
One of my favorite ideas Dahlia had was the thank you sign for her parents. It was a surprise for them, and such a sweet, sentimental gift to give them. Also, it’s my handwriting! LOL! Dahlia was too nervous to write it, so I took over.
Thanks for letting me take your photos Dahlia, and congratulations!
