I got to see a lot of this family over the course of about a week, which I loved. I met Bianca back in November when she had a mini-shoot done with me just before the holidays. Then she contacted me about photographing her parents SURPRISE vow renewal (30 years!), and then we scheduled her baby Fabian’s cake smash session for four days after the vow renewal. It was awesome! Bianca & Fabian are both so fun to be around, and we get along great–they’re easy to talk to, and make me laugh! Baby Fabian makes me laugh, too. He was making this face, clenching his fists, and shaking his whole body…it was hysterical! I couldn’t tell if he was angry, or excited. Didn’t matter, still cute. The funniest thing was that Fabian wasn’t so interested in his cake…and this has happened before! I have realized (hindsight is 20/20, afterall) that it’s not a bad idea to do a cake smash at home, a couple days before the shoot, so the kids get the idea of what to do. I don’t think that would have mattered with Fabian, though…he couldn’t stand being dirty! I don’t know if he even like the cake or not–I think what was bothering him really was that he was messy. So.Freakin.Adorable. A little man after my own heart! I hate being messy (when it comes to food, especially). I don’t like eating ribs, sloppy joes, or anything that requires a big mess! Anyways, here are some photos from our day. I even love the ones of him angry at the end…that’s how cute he is!
