Katie’s mom contacted me about doing maternity photos for her daughter, Katie, after I did maternity photos for Katie’s brother Ryan & his wife, Jessica. I LOVE getting to photograph different members of families, and love seeing how alike & different everyone is! Makes my job so fun. Katie’s mom, Tug, decided on Madrona Manor in Healdsburg. I had never been there, but have heard a lot of great things about it. We planned on an evening shoot, and I headed up after work one day.
Tug got there just after I did, and she and I walked the ground scoping out spots. I was floored–gorgeousness around every corner! Flowers, buildings, paths, gorgeous light, I just loved it. Katie, Matt & the kids got there shortly after and we got started. It was so fun to watch the kids interact, and really helpful having Tug there to help keep their attention and to allow me to take Katie & Matt for some photos of just the two of them. Can’t wait to see how cute their baby boy is–looking at his big brother & sister I just know he will be stunning! <3 Thanks guys for a great afternoon.
