Shaun & Elena wanted to have an “elopement” in Sonoma County, but without any signing of legal paperwork. They’ve been together for years and wanted to declare their love for one another in front of their closest family and friends in an elopement-type ceremony, without any of the legal mess behind it. They rented an AirBNB in Sebastopol, and planned their ceremony and reception there. They had their closest friends speak, and then spoke themselves talking about their love and commitment to one another from the years prior and the years to come. It was so nice to hear people talk about their love story without any formalities, and I really felt like I knew them from hearing everyone speak. It was a short couple of hours we spent together, but I left there renewed in my belief of love and feeling like I’d known them since day one of their story. That should speak volumes about the speeches of everyone involved! My friend Alli of @CuratedByAlli was their planner, and did an amazing job making sure the day went off without a hitch.
