Charity & Sam were married on Sam’s family property in Cazadero. I say “in Cazadero” lightly, because it was actually through, and above, the actual town. Once I got to the gate, at the top of the mountain, I was immediately excited. It was such a gorgeous, secluded drive, so I just knew the property would be, too. After I arrived at the gate, it was another 15-20 minutes down private dirt roads to the wedding site. I knew it would be pretty, but I was BLOWN AWAY at how gorgeous it truly was. They had a BIG white tent set up for the girls to get ready in, custom built redwood tables, a custom platform at the altar, beautiful creek access, incredible redwood trees, everything! It was surreal, a little forest wonderland.
Charity is a photographer herself (specializing in boudoir!) so it really meant a lot to me that she chose ME to photograph her day. I was really impressed with how hands-off she was, and flattered that she seemed to trust me so much. She was probably second guessing that when I asked her to cross the creek, but she was a good sport 😉 But really, I was impressed with how “go-with-the-flow” she was, and that she was really game for whatever I threw her way. Sam was the same way, and they were both an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. So were their friends and family! Charity’s mom mentioned that SO many people came together to pitch in and make the event possible, and it was so sweet to see how many hands truly were involved. It was a testament to the character of both Charity & Sam to see how many people cared for them, and were able to pitch in.
Thank you for a great time guys! I loved being apart of your day, and witnessing your love firsthand. Wishing you all the best! Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Charity Epperson! 😉
