I just loved shooting Hunter’s 1st birthday and family photos! Seriously, they all rocked it! Hunter really didn’t want to be put down–he wasn’t sure of the strangers & his surroundings! But we were able to get lots of laughs out of him by having mom & dad throw him in the air, give him lots of snuggles and kisses, and generally just making fools out of ourselves 🙂 That’s what typically works best for small children–you just have to abandon all care about your appearance and perceptions, and just let it fly! My BFF helped out on this session, and took a couple funny behind-the-scenes shots of me laying in the dirt & brush, just doing my best to get the perfect shots. Wish I had them to share! I’m always laying on the ground and getting dirty! 🙂
