I had done Ashley & Joe’s engagement photos, so I was super excited to shoot their wedding, too. It’s always fun for me as I feel like I get to catch up with old friends, and be apart of such a milestone event. Ashley & Joe were married at the Kennedy Park/Wedgewood Golf Course in Napa–talk about a beautiful setup! I just loved how everything looked–the soft, romantic colors, the photos on the tables, the gorgeous white tenting/material EVERYWHERE! One of my favorite parts of this wedding: We had access to golf carts, and the ability to explore the property for photos. SO FUN! I haven’t driven a golf cart in awhile (since my last wedding at a golf course last year!) and had a blast. The MOH rode with me (and I almost lost her a couple times) and we laughed the entire time. SO FUN! I also loved seeing everyone dance together on the dance floor. LITERALLY, I think I saw everyone dancing at some point! That’s how you know it’s a good time.
Now I know a wedding is about the bride & groom, obviously. BUT, one of my favorite photos from the night is actually of Ashley’s parents! It’s the one at the bottom of this post. They are SO in love with each other, and you can totally see it in the way he looks at her. What an example to set! I got some great shots of the two of them.
