Hello, 2026 — Let’s Do This! 🎉📸
Wow. WOW. I honestly don’t even know where to begin — but if you know me, you know I’m never short on feelings, so here we go.
This year marks my 15th year in business as a photographer… FIFTEEN. 🤯 When I first picked up a camera all those years ago, I had no idea where this journey would take me — who I would meet, what I would learn, or how deeply photography would become woven into who I am as a human.
Over the last 15 years, I’ve learned so much. About light and composition, sure — but more importantly about people. I’ve learned how to hold space, how to listen, how to make someone feel seen, and how powerful it is to freeze a moment that will never exist in quite the same way again. Photography has taught me patience, empathy, resilience, and trust — both in myself and in the process.
And the PEOPLE. Oh my heart. 💛
The humans I’ve met along the way — clients, fellow creatives, families, seniors, couples, business owners — you have shaped this journey more than you know. Every story I’ve been invited into is a gift I never take lightly. I truly love what I do because of you.
One of the biggest, most exciting chapters of this past year? I am full-time in photography again, and my gratitude for that is hard to put into words. Being able to pour my energy, creativity, and heart into this work on a full-time basis feels incredibly aligned — and honestly, like coming home. I don’t take a single session, inquiry, or message of support for granted.
To my clients: THANK YOU.
Thank you for trusting me.
Thank you for cheering me on.
Thank you for referring me, tagging me, hyping me up, and choosing me again and again. Your love and support are the reason I get to keep doing what lights me up, and I am endlessly grateful for each of you. 🫶
As I reflect on 2025, I’m sharing some of my favorite images from the year — moments that made me feel proud, emotional, inspired, and deeply connected. And I want to be clear: these are not my ONLY favorites. Not even close. I had so many images to choose from, which feels like the best problem to have. Each one holds a memory, a story, a feeling — and I’m so thankful for every single frame.
Here’s to 15 years of growth.
Here’s to community, connection, and creativity.
And here’s to whatever magic the new year brings. ✨
Thank you for being here, for supporting my small business, and for being part of this journey with me. I can’t wait to see what’s next.
With so much love and gratitude,
DJ 💛📸
PS: I plan to start working on a Passion Project I’ve had in the works for about 10 years, starting next year.
The goal is to connect human beings through social media, experiences, and photography. Please let me know if you’d be interested in participating!
