I met Kayla & Matt at the Equestrian center where Kayla keeps her horse, Griffin. Right away, I fell in love with them! They wanted to include both their animals in their engagement session, which totally speaks right to my heart! I LOVED walking around the equestrian center, and looking at all the horses! There was even a baby that had been born just two weeks prior. So cute! I’ve done engagement photos with a horse one other time, for my friend Courtney. It really adds something special to the photos, even if they do make me just a tad nervous. There were soooo many gorgeous spots for photos, and we really lucked out with the most beautiful sun & light! Kayla & Matt have a total ease when they’re together, something I really admired about them. You can really see their love when they’re together. Their dog, Maddie, was absolutely hilarious, too. SO MUCH ENERGY! She was totally fascinated by all the horses around, and they were by her, too! It worked out really nice that a few horses came and stood at the fence right behind me, so Maddie was looking right at me (them, really). Big thanks to Kayla’s Grandma, too, for coming and helping out!
Thank you Kayla & Matt! I had a great time with you both. Thanks for letting me be silly, and trusting in my dumb little games to get you guys laughing & loosened up. You did a fabulous job!
