I’ve known Johnny & DJ for a few years now through mutual friends and good old KJ’s (RIP) and had a blast taking their engagement photos! DJ & I always joke because before we knew each other, people would always get us mixed up. Easy to do, we have the same name and both have blonde hair! We’d always end up telling people, “oh, no, that’s the OTHER DJ.”
Johnny is a mechanic, so they had some super fun ideas to incorporate that into their session. I love when clients come up with personal, fun things to do! It really adds that perfect “you” factor, to make sure your session really reflects who you are as a couple or family! We were able to use Johnny’s work for photos, and really had a blast wandering around the property and exploring all it had to offer. We got some great shots, in some great spots!
