It’s hard to believe my step-sister, Remi, is graduating high school! I first met her when she was like 5 years old, before her mom & my dad had even begun dating or even met! She is a BEAUTIFUL girl, inside and out. She’s incredibly giving, intelligent, and caring. She is an excellent basketball player, and basketball really is her life. The girl can ball!
Remi & my stepmom came up for my bridal shower, and we took the short hour of daylight we had left when they got here and snapped her senior photos. I kept finding myself saying, out loud, “aww, why are you so cute?!” She will always be that little 5 year old girl in my mind and in my heart. The little girl who cried when her hair got brushed, couldn’t pronounce “Bakersfield”, and loved to follow her older sister and I around. Man, time flies!
