Being a Sonoma County maternity photographer is so so so fun. You get to embark on a journey with clients about to experience their greatest joy! It’s such an exciting time, and everyone is generally so happy. I mentioned when I posted a preview on Facebook, that Jessica and her family were some of the nicest people I’d ever met. I totally meant it. We did their maternity photos at their home in the Healdsburg area. It’s an area that I love, because my boyfriend lived near there when we first started dating. I have fond memories of driving on that same road with butterflies in my stomach, going to hang out with the now-love-of-my-life.
We had a great time using their friends’ property across the street, and old classic car as a prop for the photos, barns, tall grass right along a creek, an old beautiful porch. Well, you get the idea. Plus, Jessica is one of the most beautiful pregnant women I’ve ever seen! She just wears it so well. I just loved everything about this day. Well, almost everything. It was kinda hot. But not super hot. Just kinda hot…
